A Personal Poem

This morning, I was upset so I took out a pen and started writing. This poem doesn't need any type of explanation, it's more of an "it is what it is" type of poem. Hope you like it.
"Brought together from the top,
About to soar down,
I feel you holding onto me,
But all you do is frown.
You say this is forever,
You say 'just you and me',
But I don't know about forever,
We're so caught up in this misery.
Can you ever feel the way I feel?,
I don't think you feel the least,
And even if you did,
You would still be having this big feast.
This girl, that girl,
What do you need all of them for?,
I'm waiting for you forever,
Do you need any more?
You can't say I didn't love you,
You can't say I didn't care,
I call you every day just to find,
You're having an affair.
I can't believe you did this,
I can't believe we're done,
I love you with my whole heart,
And you just want to have fun.
I know we can't see each other,
Each and every day,
But boy, now that you proved your feelings,
I will never again stay."

This is real enough.. And so very familiar
Wow...If you came up with that in a few minutes because you were motivated! Excellent poetry and so full of heart. I feel what you are feeling and see what you see!!!! Hope you feel better soon!

I am a mom of three (1 boy, 2 girls), and let me tell you that as a parent I have felt all their life-growing pains. I do not forget my own; and so I was able to ride their time with them.
Hang in there Jess, please, do not let your heart weigh you down. I finally found my prince (28-years now!) after kissing so many undeserving frogs. Find your worth and hang on to it!

It is always healing to set your feelings to paper, in any form. It's as though you release a bit of the pain from within, and set it free.
